The portrait had a hat, a gold frame and a signature. Naturally, the next question was whether it had anything to say. RUBARE’s introduction gives a familiar Rubare Tutto image a voice—and leaves room for a little mischief.

This noncommercial documentary follows an AI-assisted experiment in sound and movement. The source recording is credited, the remix is described, and human listening decides what stays. Even a playful character can keep its process in view.

A voice with character

We chose ElevenLabs’ Oliver — Clean, British and Steady, generation two. Local alternatives had their auditions, but the original delivery won us back.

A local remix lowered the pitch one semitone while preserving the timing, with a light touch of warmth and grit. RUBARE is the name of that treatment. It is an edited recording, not a cloned voice or a newly trained model.

Keep the signature, add the motion

Custom 2D animation gives the head and hat a gentle movement while the mouth and jaw follow the narration’s sound level. It is a stylized performance, not precise speech-by-speech lip synchronization.

The final framing preserves the handwritten lettering and gold frame inside the white vertical rectangle, without the striped outer square. At about 97 seconds, the introduction gives the portrait time to speak without letting it take over the gallery.

A studio full of questions

RUBARE’s chosen influences offer different ways to look: Picasso’s restless reinvention, Basquiat’s layered language, Banksy’s questions about images and authority, and Warhol’s repetition and fame. These are artistic references, not endorsements or collaborations.

MMG brings a da Vinci-inspired curiosity across disciplines: sketch an idea, ask how it works, then try it. The character can be polished and mischievous at once. Perhaps the drawing board is simply another canvas.

The familiar ‘great artists steal’ provocation is a question here, not a verified quotation or permission slip. What has changed? What remains recognizable? Who made the ingredients? A remix becomes more interesting when it can answer those questions.

Give the ingredients their credit

ElevenLabs supplied the synthetic narration; local audio processing and custom animation shaped the result. The creator confirms making the original logo artwork. No endorsement by ElevenLabs is implied.

The Free-plan narration is shared for noncommercial use with elevenlabs.io in the title and attribution in the caption. Editing its sound does not grant commercial rights. This documentary treatment has no advertising, purchase links or sales call to action.

Press play when you are ready—there is no autoplay. The character’s curiosity can wait for yours.
